22@Barcelona, through the Digital District project, has started a Multimedia Classrooms Network in order to make it easier for residents, institutions and associations from the district to access, use and learn new technologies.
With the five new multimedia classrooms we will be able to offer more access points to the network as well as a new service helping people to access information and get training. Access to these classrooms is free and they can be used between 4 and 8 hours weekly; prior reservation required.
The self-service offered in the multimedia classrooms gives users access to office software, Internet, allows them to digitalize and save documents, open multimedia files and use image-editing software, among other activities.
Moreover, in the self-service rooms users can count on the help of specialized personnel and training sessions, which include basic computer literacy for all publics as well as activities specifically designed for organizations, among others.
