On 27 January, at the International Business Centre of Catalonia,
22@Barcelona and
Pimec hosted a conference to inform companies from the
local area and the Bon Pastor Industrial estate about new lines of
financing, training and technological applications offered by the
leading agents established in the district.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Mayor and Town Councillor in charge of Finance and Economic Promotion,
Jordi William Carnes; the councillor for the Sant Andreu district,
Gemma Mumbrú; PIMEC Chairman
Lluís Bahamonde; the Chairwoman of the Barcelona Bon Pastor Industrial Estate Association of Companies,
Montserrat Ferrer; the General Secretary of 22@Network, the association of companies in the district,
Antoni Oliva, and the CEO of 22@Barcelona,
Josep Miquel Piqué.


The 22@Barcelona centres of technology,
Barcelona Activa,
KIMbcn and others associated with 22@, informed conference-goers from the Bon Pastor industrial estate and the 22@Barcelona district about the services offered to companies and which channels of financing and technological applications there are in place for companies.
The
APTE and
CEPE Associations of Industrial and Technology Parks of Spain, the
School of Industrial Organisation (EOI) and the
National Company for Innovation (ENISA) also took part in the conference with the presentation of the COPIT project, a cooperation programme aimed at improving competitiveness and fostering the development of business for companies on Industrial Estates with Technology Parks.
Similarly, 22@Barcelona, PIMEC,
CECOT and
IL·3-University of Barcelona offered conference-goers a new free training service for traditional companies that was created this year. This service consists of a programme of training workshops and accompaniment to professionalise the business management of traditional companies.
Finally, the Deputy Mayor and Town Councillor in charge of Finance and Economic Promotion,
Jordi William Carnes, brought the conference to a close by encouraging companies in the 22@Barcelona district and the Bon Pastor Industrial Estate to make full use of the financing, training and technology tools presented to them and to create synergies between themselves for the development of large-scale international projects.
