The Official College of Nursing of Barcelona (COIB) will be moving to the 22@Barcelona district in January. The new headquarters of the professional association will be located in the Inbisa 22@ building, standing at the confluence of Carrer Pujades, Carrer Selva de Mar and Carrer Provençals, a few metres from Avinguda Diagonal.

The professional association will occupy three floors covering 4,700 m² of the building developed by the INBISA property group as a result of the purchase completed by the Estrada & Partners consultancy. A conference hall will be located on the top floor with seating for 280 people open to companies interested.  The COIB also has a site on Carrer Alcoi in Barcelona and training classrooms on Ronda Sant Pere.

The purchase of new corporate headquarters was one of the commitments that the present Governing Council of the COIB undertook at the start of its mandate with the aim of ensuring accessibility with public transport, the functionality of the different areas and increasing the range of activities for the association members.

The President of the COIB, Mariona Creus i Virgili, stated her satisfaction with the purchase of the new association headquarters, as “it will allow us to increase the present areas, project a more appropriate social image and bring together in one building all the services that the association offers its members.”
