The 2009 HiT Barcelona summit was the most important event in the month of June. 22@Barcelona participated actively in the Global Entrepreneurship Competition, which over three days put Barcelona on all international entrepreneurs’ calendars.
Our collaboration in business growth programs continued with the second Global Growth Program workshop and the presentation of the Business Talent Program, which offers funding for companies that want to hire doctoral students or graduates.
Finally, regarding companies in the district, the newest incorporations include ICNET and NIVARIA. The UPC School of Professional & Executive Development also held a symposium for Android developers.

- 22@SYNERGYS: 22@Barcelona, in collaboration with KimBCN, organizes business networking at congresses or other scientific or technological events that take place in Barcelona. The objective is to facilitate access to scientific knowledge while helping to generate new business opportunities for companies.

- INTERNATIONAL NETWORK 22@ (IN22@): The IN22@ international networking meeting is part of a series of events that are held periodically, each focusing on a specific geographic area. This initiative is part of the "Good Will Ambassadors" program, a network of professionals from different cities with links to Barcelona that collaborate with 22@Barcelona designing or driving actions to connect the local and international communities and retain global-minded talent in our city. The first meeting was held on 12 June, focusing on Scandinavian countries.
