At this month’s 22@Update Breakfast* we will answer all your questions about private financing and the latest trends in this area, as well as hearing some practical suggestions from top experts in the field. What are pioneering companies like Google investing in? What do they look for when deciding whether or not to invest in a company? What strategies are start-ups using to attract the interest of investors and get financing? And some practical advice?

Luis Daniel Arbulu, Finance and Investments Lead at Google.org Investment, will share his view on investment trends at this large financing group. Shaherose Charania, co-founder of the Women 2.0 organization, will share the reactions of investors in Silicon Valley to the current economic situation and the strategies start-ups are using to attract investment. Finally, founder of the Privalia company, Lucas Carné, will give us some practical suggestions based on his own success story. He overcame the difficulties of working in a sector that is seen as high-risk in the Spanish investment market, to get the necessary funding at different steps of the development of his business.
