The
Catalan Consumer Affairs Agency (ACC) has rented offices in the
Interface Building, owned by Real Estate developers Castellví Group,
located in the 22@Barcelona district. With this latest acquisition, the
developer has occupied practically 100% of the building located in the
22@Barcelona district.
Real-estate consultancy
Jones Lang LaSalle negotiated the transaction, which includes approximately 1,000m
2 on the ground floor of the building.
In this building the
ACC will establish the headquarters of the
Consumer School of Catalonia, with its offices and classrooms prepared to develop workshops on consumption and research tasks. It will provide free public service for primary, secondary schools and special education, as well as for the entire Catalan educational system. Therefore, they have opted for a functional space that is attractive and flexible, optimizing resources through simple design focusing on practicality.
The
Interface Building has 20,000m
2 of space above ground and 10,000m
2 underground, which are used for parking. The ground floor of the building has preserved the facade of the old Netol company, making it an emblematic building in the 22@Barcelona district. The Catalan Consumer Affairs Agency will share the property with the
Barcelona City Council and technology company
Indra. The change in the headquarters of the Consumer School of Catalonia is motivated by the growth in its activities, but also by the fact that all of the departments of the Catalan Consumer Affairs Agency (ACC) have moved to their own building located nearby at number 113 Pamplona Street. The ACC previously occupied various floor in four different buildings located on Diagonal and Gran Vía de Carlos III.
