This meeting is organized by the SISOSCAT Foundation in order to encourage Global Use of New Technologies by organizations in the third sector.

On Thursday May 29, 2008 the SISOSCAT Foundation will hold the Second Symposium on New technologies and the third sector: Global Use of New Technologies. This event aims to be a meeting point for organizations from the third sector that work in the field of new technologies through local telecenters, training classes or cooperation programs with the third world.

The Symposium is directed to:
The Symposium focuses on companies from the third sector that work with marginalized groups at risk of social exclusion, mainly in Catalonia, but also elsewhere on the planet. We want companies from the third sector to share their experiences and learn from what others are doing in other parts of the world.
