The accredited consular body in Barcelona participated in this inauguration, organized by the Barcelona City Council and 22@Barcelona, in order to attract innovative international companies in the Media, ICT, Energy, Biotech and Design sectors.

Barcelona contributes its experience and adds its conclusions to those presented by the WIST European Project, which studies the role of women in the knowledge society.

Coinciding with the International Internet Day and the Poblenou May Festival, 22@Barcelona had a stand on the Rambla del Poblenou the weekend of May 17 and 18.

Mayor of Lisbon, António Costa, visited the 22@Barcelona district in order to see first hand the city of Barcelona’s economic and urban-planning project.
